i think its either 2.7 or 2.8 cant remember for sure

just did a "SEARCH" and found the tranny is 2.7 and the diffs are 2.8

i think mine is like 65:1 ratio, but depends on what motor you have.. my lathe motor on 1 battery makes it alot slower than that.. my top speed is like 3-4 mph

Twisted is right,

diff ratio: 2.84:1
1st gear: 2.76:1
2nd gear (in case you're wondering) 1.72:1

I'm using a lathe motor, GD-600 (2.5:1), 76T spur and 9Tpinion (robinson racing).

Hope this helps...

yea that dose thanks except im going a little diffrent on the trans. im using a sportmaxx tranny i think the ratio is 2:1 or something like that i put on a stock pede spur and im using a 13t pinion.
( a gear ratio in the trans is how many times the spur goes around for the driveshaft to turn once right???)if so thats my ratio..
thanks again for you help..

to get your ratio

divide the pinion into the spur

then multiply that by the trans

then multiply that by the diffs

then thats your ratio ;)

alot easier

that means you have a 36:1 crawl ratio, which is still kinda fast

but if you use a lathe motor, that also help slow it down.

also, you said you were using a pede spur gear? isnt that a 48 pitch gear? why use that? a 32 p is stronger :?

well if your set on using 48p gears,,,go get a 12t pinion and a 96( i think thats it) spur gear..im running those on my sons pede tranny..but since your running maxx stuff, go get a 72spur gear for a maxx( 32pitch) and a 9t pinion ;)
