1/16 summit scaler/trail truck setups?
 

I recently acquired a 1/16 summit. Wondering if anyone out there has transformed one of these into a more crawler/scaler oriented vehicle?

Not at all interested in speed (have a WR8) for that, so the first move would be ditching the vxl system for a brushed setup.

Any suggestions, thoughts, photos, etc would be appreciated. Thanks. "thumbsup"

Here's mine, a highly modified Li'l Summit chassis under an old Midnight Pumpkin body. It runs the VXl motor, with a Dynamite Taser ESC, pushing thru a 4 to 1 GRU.

It's a sloth, and with 1.9's, it climbs pretty well. It's in the "1.9 scale" section, prob'ly back a few pages. I say go for it, and show us the build. :)
