| ![]() Do you have 4 wheel steer set up? Either way, this is how to get a tighter turning radius on a maxx: Take off all four axle carriers (pillowball mounts) and use a dremmel tool to shave some of the plastic off from where the pillow ball shaft sticks through. This will allow the pillowball more freedom of movement, thus, tighter turning radius. |

shaving the link ends will not give more turning radius...you will need a longer servo horn or find a better place for the servo....as for your chassis twist try different shock possitions

right now my shocks are mounted about an inch higher than the lower link mount, should I raise the shock mount?

[QUOTE=WRMorrison][COLOR=DarkOrange][SIZE=2][FONT=Comic Sans MS]Do you have 4 wheel steer set up? Either way, this is how to get a tighter turning radius on a maxx: Ive got to get my front steer set right before I try to tackle the rear steer. I figure once I get the front right the rear should be a sinch. I did do the mod to the tq3 and tested it and it works good. Instead of doing the standard toggle switch on the third channel I put 2 momentary push buttons on and I like better. |
