I wish all those wheels were 1.9!

If you replace the awesome Traxxas shocks with aftermarket, Chinese shocks you bumped your head. The stock shocks are perfect!

I have been told their shocks are better and smoother than the stock one( based on their advertisement) So, someone gonna be the first guinea pig to test out their new shocks right?

Not going to lie. THose look cool. With the 2.2" wheels are they expecting people to use the lift kit?

I put 2.2 rc4wd tsl boggers on my trx 4 sport. I ordered the lift but ended up only adding longer shocks and making adjustments with longer rod ends where needed to bring the suspension geometry back. I set up the shocks with the stock springs so ride height didn't change mych at all but they give a lot more suspension flex. I did have to trim the electronic trays to keep the tire from rubbing at full flex. I'm running an xj body I trimmed the fender flares off the body to look exactly like my 1:1 xj trail rig I had about 15 years ago.

One thing that many people complained about when the TRX-4 was first released was how large it seemed for a 1/10th scale rig.

Now that we have (mostly) gotten over that, an interesting side effect is that running 2.2" wheels with small outer diameter 2.2" tires or (even easier) stretched 1.9" tires can still look reasonably accurate.

2.2" Chanquish w/ 1.9" RC4WD Ground Hawg II...

I agree, the 1.9 tires on 2.2 wheels do not look out of scale given the fact that the most common off road wheel size in the 1:1 world seems to be 17". A quick look at Method Race Wheels web site shows all their 1:1 race wheels are only available in 17".

As for the above shocks being better than the Traxxas GTS shocks that is debatable since the GTS shocks are so smooth with just a little TLC and are included at no additional cost. If someone was interested in sending me a set at no charge I would gladly install them and compare how they work relative to the GTS shocks but make no mistake, I would not pay money for them.

Agree. In real 1:1 off car vehicle any wheels bigger than 17 is nonsense.

I love your front bumper. Looks really nice scale on your TRX-4. May I know the brand name of the front and rear bumpers? Look like team DC ?

The front and rear bumpers on my Defender are from Integy with Hot Racing screw mounts and tow hooks.
