New to Traxxas and RC Hobby

Hey guys, Just got a TRX4 for my first RC Hobby. I'm using the traxxas lipo 2c, 7.4, 7600mah.

First frustrating run. I took my TRX4, driving around hard, then the solid green ESC turns red for what ever reason. I'm not sure if it was blinking but when i took the cover off, it was solid red. So then i unplug the car and then turn it back on. Drive it hard around for 10 minutes and it happens again!?

Am I overheating the ESC?

If it is blink slow red that is the low voltage cut off kicking in.

Do you happen to have a meter you can take the temp of the ESC?

Also a solid red is the low voltage is disabled for NiMH

Thank you! i had no idea there was a training mode! Thats going to be on for now on and i'll keep you guys updated if this happens again!
