Up until just now I have been able to see moedawi's pictures - all the sudden they are gone from his posts...

Were they posted through Photobucket?

Might have posted too many for them to remain free of charge?

i dont think Photobucket is allowing the pics to be posted on third party websites unless you pay 400 a year, what a shame i had this account with them for years def closing the account.
i'll repost the pics through flicker from now on.

That' s a very nice Defender

I am currently also building a rig with the GRC front motor kit -> CLICK (only german language).

The look is very nice but the kit is absolutely inacceptable noisy.
Sounds like a broken transmission, while everything is fine.

Yes, right - i am working on the G-Class.

But it's still a secret for my forum dudes.
I will tell them not before mid of march.

Anyway, the rig is pretty nose-heavy now - what do you think about that?

Unreal man - this is a great build and that engine is incredible! Making me want to do a Defender in addition to the Bronco I've got.

Where'd you get those pelican-style cases up on your roof rack?

Great looking build, I'm also wondering about the nose heaviness, found my TRX-4 works best with a slight forward balance point. Hopefully they get the gear noise fixed up with the GR unit, trucks already my noisiest crawler. A dab of flat black paint inside both exhaust pipes would add scale realism too.

The Gear is loud and its very nose heavy i'd say 60 to 65-35 ratio.
i might spray the whole exhaust pipe black, yes, no???

55/45 F/R seems better ime, gotta go downhill before or after going up.

No on all black (but outside a nice aluminum or gavlanized steel kinda color would look great imo), could add a little weathering if you're into that or it will self weather. Gotta have flat black inside the tips.
