Range Rover vs Bronco

Other than wheelbase will one of these perform any better than the other?

Just trying to pick one for general fun usage

Re: Range Rover vs Bronco

I've had both for quite a while but neither are completely stock so YMMV. I guess if you had a gun to my head I'd say the Bronco wins but they're both pretty capable. If you start loading down the cargo rack on the Defender then the Bronco becomes a more defined winner but that's jmo and there are certainly other factors to consider.

I'd say that both of mine do equally well on the trail but the Bronco does a little better on the rocks. This is due to the lighter body/ lower center of gravity and tighter turning radius. Conversely... there are lines that my Defender can do better than the Bronco due to the longer wheelbase being an asset.

The Defender body is obviously better suited to creating a scale over-landing/ expedition type of rig but on any given day I'm just as happy to run my Defender as I am my Bronco.

If it was me at this point, I'd prob steer away from the Defender unless there was something about the wheel-base or body that particularly appealed to me. I'd instead probably go in for the Sport as the stock body is considerably lighter ( despite being more generic) OR I might grab a hold of the K5 Blazer since it's just so damn sexy.

No matter what, the TRX4 is a ton of fun in any flavor!

Re: Range Rover vs Bronco

Think I’d go the bronco route..., I have the defender and am trying to sell it.
I found it ... too top heavy
too large
Wheel wells too large (only looks good with large tires)
Going more the small scale route..
