Bought this a month ago and started building it. got rid of just the basic plastic parts that needed attention like the shock towers because i need to be able to lower the truck, the spur cover and motor mount which had some play in it. most of those parts i replaced with alloy bits and kept the truck mostly stock.



i placed the stock body and expidition rack in storage and plan to sell them later on. i actually used a beaten lexan LC70 body but the bed cracked after a few runs so i added the axial truggy rear.



powering this build is an AXE 550 3300kv combo and Savox 1210SG servo, the servo winch is a broken 1210SG moded for 360 degrees and controlled by a 1060 hobbywing esc.

I got rid of the stock sliders and replaced it with the vs410 slider mount and custom aluminum sheet. DIY bumper mounting brackets to move the bumper higher and used a vanquish servo bumper mount for the winch. the rear shock extensions are DIY too.

Choose to run voodoo KLR/M with Pitbull 2 stage Rockbeast foams (from my 4.45 inch tires) and mounted on 2.2 wheels.

I do have both OD and UD gears but have not installed any of them, do you guys recommend running with both or just one of them?
