Default Water foam and wheels

New to RC's so pardon my ignorance.

I've searched and haven't found the answer.

Is there an option other than sticking tape on your breather hole every time you might get in water? I understand you could not do the tape but then, as I understand it, you have to take the foam out and let it dry every time. Seems to be a big pita.

Other than avoiding water, is there another alternative? Is there a wheel design that doesn't have/need the vent hole?

Thanks

Many, many wheels come unvented.

Vented tires will perform better but a sealed tire can still perform great.
