Having an electronic issue

I have a Traxxas TRX 4 Bronco and the steering servo seems to work fine till I hit the throttle and then the strew ring goes back to zero but only in the forward direction. Steering seems fine in reverse. When it’s stopped and you turn left and right everything is fine the moment you touch the throttle it just zeros out. But seems to be fine in reverse. I’m running all stock electronics. On a 3 cell. Any ideas?

If you are running the stock servo arm it could be stripped. It's inexpensive plastic and not up for the job. Mine when the 2nd time out and made the steering erratic.

I would also suggest checking the servo arm to see if the splines are stripped. Servo arm could also be loose. In either case, the servo/ steering will seemingly move erratically. Sometimes it'll seem to be turning fine and then all of a sudden it won't be. If the arm is tight on the shaft and it's not stripped then my guess would be the servo going out. The stock steering servo on the TRX4 has proven to many people to be less than robust and often has a pretty short life-span.

It was a setting in my radio... after tinkering with it for awhile I fixed it... thanks
