Default TRX4 Weight, Battery, and Run Time

Just curious what everyone is running...

My TRX4 sport kit weighs 9 lbs. I use a 4300mah battery up front with a HH Crawlmaster sport 12T. 45/13 spur-pinion. Last night I got about 1.5 hrs on the pack before it got to 3.8v per cell

I'm running the same motor with a 2200mah 3s up front with 45/9 gearing. No brass, stock weight, and I'm getting 2.5 hrs of run time.

TRX-4 Sport + 2-speed, weighs about 7.5lbs with a Creep and some brass up front. 14/45 gearing with 1080 + Tekin HD 35T 540. Usually 45-50 minutes out of a 3S 1500mah (Zeee or CNHL) pack.
It's more than enough as those 1500s weigh less than 4oz, and you can easily fit two of them in a pocket.

TRX-4 (formerly a Defender) now with a JConcepts K10 shell. North of 9lbs, HW AXE 550 R2 3300Kv geared 12/45, definitely under an hour on a GensAce 4300 Adventure pack. That's a whole
lotta motor to put on something with a 2-speed. If I had it to do again, it would be WAY lower Kv.

Default TRX4 Weight, Battery, and Run Time

TRX4 Sport(kit). Single speed tranny. Chassis has all excess weight stripped. Not sure on weight but it’s relatively light. Maybe around 5-6Lbs? Stock body without rack and bumpers, No brass, and a HW fusion on stock 39/17 gearing. I run a 3500mah 2S shorty up front and get about 1.5-2hrs depending on my driving that day.

Not a TRX4, but a TRX6

TRX6, +2speed +Lockers Mostly stock chassis with heavy body cosmetics (custom bed, bumpers, lights, metal roof rack etc) No definite weight but most likely over 10 lbs.
HW AXE 2850Kv R2, 11/45 gearing + MKS HBL 550 + winch (mostly unused) + Light kit
SMC 5200mah hardcase
3-4 hours of crawling at one large location, A long while doing rounds on my relatively small backyard course.
Trail/hiking 1.5 hours or so.

Usually a fully charged 5000mah pack lasts me a week crawling around in my home course.

My stock TRX4 Defender with a Li-Ion 6800mAh 2S in Trail Mode gives me 55 minutes of hiking/trails mixed in with terrain (like 4x4 tracks in sand/mud/snow) at this time of year.

55 minutes out of a 6800mAh battery sounds too little. Have you checked a different battery?

So another 4.5 hrs or so of runtime before the battery runs out of juice... not bad.

It's when a cell won't stay above 2.8V at no load that it's drained. The problem for me is that the ESC will cut the power already at 3.3V/cell

Most sites indicate that the usable voltage range for a standard LiPo battery cell is 3.2v to 4.2v. Any lower than 3.2v and the battery might be permanently damaged...

Your results may vary, but I stick in the safe range because I typically carry at least one spare pack to throw into the vehicle per crawl session.
