SCX10ii Rails with TRX4 skid Hey everyone, Figured I’d hop here to ask. I have a spare scx10ii set of rails here, a new set of trx lcg rails on the way but taking forever. I had a thought, has anyone here used the TRX4 skid and mounted it with scx10ii rails ? I have links to use for braces, I have extra driveshafts to fit scx10ii.. but not sure if the skid would work ? If anyone has done it please shed some advice. I’ve now grown to really wanna try this out but don’t want to Frankenstein for no reason if it won’t even fit. :) TYA |
Re: SCX10ii Rails with TRX4 skid Anything can be made to fit. If you have rails put them up to the skid. Chances are bolts won't line up at the very least. Sent from my SM-S906U using Tapatalk |
Re: SCX10ii Rails with TRX4 skid I was working on a build the opposite. SCX10.2 rails and TRX skid. Would need to redrill holes in the chassis rails to line up correctly with the skid. Everything would likely need to be massaged and tweaked to fit correctly and work as it should. |
Re: SCX10ii Rails with TRX4 skid it can be done your center of gravity will be really high cause the skid is alot higher on the scx10 also you would need portals for the gear reduction and that would add to the cog problem on the other hand maybe you want alot of belly clearance for the type of crawling your doing or maybe you have a really long wheel base i dont know |
