deep terrain traxx mods?

has anyone modified the traxx for more fore and aft articulation? one thing i noticed in my kit, is there is a limiter block on the rear traxx shocks. i took that out and now the rear travels like the front, but i would like to get them to rotate a bit more.

Could you provide a picture of the limiter? I've looked on my set and I don't see anything which looks like a travel limiter to me.

its inside the rear shock on the tracks. if you remove the rear shock from one of the tracks and hold it up to the front shock, you will see its shorter, even though it has the same body length. there is a black plastic piece inside the shock body on the shock shaft. if you disassemble the shock and pull out the shaft, the limiter can come out.

I see the limiter on the rear shock shaft. Having removed it, are you getting noticeable performance gains? On what terrain?
