well guys im JUST about done with the rear steering. I have a servo in place, with brackets and all. i extended the wire to reach my RX, and there is a servo horn on it too.

I also modded my TQ3 and put 2 momentary buttons on the backside of the controller to control the rear tires either left or right. (i use my left thumb to hit them)

all i need to do is cut up some links, and post pictures.

My bronco body still hasn't come in yet, waiting on that.

still need to make cross bracing (easy, just gotta do it )

after that i think she is about done. BUT i cant post anypictures or work on it until this coming weekend because im goin wheelin in my 1:1 toy .. im heading down to the dunes for a few days to go bash it up in the sand. i have paddles but my emaxx is too slow now, and my savage isn't exactly runable at the moment. (someone stole the shocks! OMG!)

here is my REAL toy and the place im going too.

have a good rest of your week guys , ill try to update you this weekend!

Mike, yes that is a straight axle conversion. The axles are out of a '66 Bronco, I have a locked 9" in the rear and a D44 in the front with a limited slip.

creampuff, IT SURE DOES! I just got back from the dunes and i had a BLAST! it did great out there. I got a little fiesty i guess you could say and i got her air born.. it was pretty intense, i got it on video too(wish i knew how to upload it onto the net). i'd say i got a good foot to a foot and a half of air under my tires . not bad for a 4200 pound truck (with nobody in it)

anyway im back, time to work on the crawler again. I got my body in and i cut it already, now i gotta paint it. i also got to make up some steering links for the rear end and also some body mounts and chassis bracing.

ill keep you guys posted!

e-maxxermatt, I got the motor and reduction from Tower Hobbies. It works GREAT there is sooo much torque, its amazing. I am using the 18T pinion on the motor that the GD600 came with. I am using another 18T pinion with a larger hole in the middle to fit the GD600 shaft. Speed wise, its really slow, at full throttle it moves at about a brisk walking speed, but its has a lot of torque
