Default steering issues

how many of you people went through 5 or 6 different mounting positions for your srevos before you finally found its final resting place? i know at least half of you did. post your ideas and help out all the newcommers with maxx crawlers.

Umm, what kind of setup are you using? You have to give us some more info before we can help.We don't know what your setup is at all and i have never went through that many servo postions just to figure out where to stick it :? you have to take your time and figure it all out before you build it. you just cant slap it together in a day

Here are some pics of mine.... hope it helps. I only had one mounting point (thanks to rcrockgear. but I had to go through about 3 different steering link positions to make one work...... enjoy

I've got my steering set up finally. now if i could only figure out how to make the rear steering work the same as the front.

if you make it work the same as the front, you will only crab walk everywhere. you want it to work opposite of the front.. but you can either just plug the rear servo into the 3rd channel on your RX, then mod your TQ3 system( if that's what your running) or you can buy a Y-harness w/ reverser. they are about $10 and can get them at Tower or a LHS that is into planes.
