the best way to lock the diff is just use epoxe, open the diff clean it out. put in the hardner (fill 1/2 way) and the resin (fill the rest) screw the ring gear back on and spin the out put shafts to mix the epoxe, DONE!
oh and the weld will not hold on the ring gear, it is made out of powder metal plus there is a lot of brass in it.

i thik i know what im doing its holding very well and the axles will snap or the motors will stall before my welds break and the best way to lock the diff is by a spool because its reversable unlike epoxy

go back and heat up your joints one at a time and they will smooth out, looks like it is stuck together with glod colored gum. make sure the tube is red hot along with the brazing rod that way it will flow nicely into your coped joints.
what was the reason for having the nose higher than the rear?

EDIT : i see what u mean the fron is higher than the rear because the rear is heavier and leans to the back
