you will prolly have to make some adapters or get a very ofset rim for them to fit onto the maxx axles its totally possible but just y not make a super instead or get a tlt txt somthing along those lines to build your 2.2

you could try it but you would have to get some adapters or very of set rims then change the hex on the maxx axles to match up with the 2.2 wheel size hex

If you are not building this for a comp that the rules require 2.2 rims try the 2.9 rims. The ones that are used on the new Rustler and Pede fit over the stock maxx knuckles. You will only need to modify the hex to fit a smaller size. IMEX makes a good selection of tires. I prefer the Traxxas rear stock Electric Rustler rims. They allow the nut to sit flush on the surface. Some of the IMEX rims make it hard to use the proper nut for the maxx axles.

yes a few people have built 2.2's..... just use a 12mm hex and be done with it.. easy enough I did that on mine and never had a problem.. |

yes the hubs will work if you use the the right offset wheel. or make some totaly diffrent ones. some maxx diffs, wheely king steering blocks, jato shafts, pvc pipe and epoxy . these work great |

2.2's fit just fine... it's just about wheel choice and hex building. |

Thanks... that's what I had back in 2005. Most of it should be here on RCC. You'll just have to search my username in the Maxx section to dig up the dirt on my past rig.

To fit the 2.2 wheels to my Maxx knuckles all I did was take the 14mm hexes that are about double the width as stock Maxx hexes and cut them down to 12mm.
