Default My maxx crawler build

my maxx crawler in the middle of the build. Does anyone have any suggestions? It has a 19 1/8" wheelbase, custom tube chassis, custom links.

I would shorten the wheelbase to 17" maxxes don't have a whole lot of center clearance.

I actually thought about that. A lot of the maxxs that I have seen where around 17", but I thought that 19" might be good, because I had my clod sitting at 19 1/2" and it was awsome, It was climb just about anything. I will build me some more links and try them also. Thanks for the advise.

I have ran a 19" 18.5" 18" and now 17.25" by far the 17.25 is the best wheelbase yetyou dont realy loose much climbing ability and you gain some turning and center clearance. I am by no means an expert so its just my experience.... If you turn your maxx tranny on its side you will have better motor position than the pede.

Thanks for the info. I have had my clod at 19" once before, and loved it. But right now my clod is a 2.2. I am going to try it at 17 3/4 - 18", and see how it works. How do you turn a maxx tranny on its side? By building a braket for it?
