| TMAXX Tranny question
OK I have the Tmaxx tranny and I want to lock it out. I saw the lock out how to. But I have another question. Is there a way to lock out the tranny without the forward only conversion along with the 2 speeds. I want to lock it out in first only but still be able to switch between forward and reverse since I have a forward only speed controller. Or is that impossible? Thanks in advance. Later, Brandon |

You could always go to a single speed conversion. It will however up the ratio some. Also you will need a servo to shift into reverse yet. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXDUZ0&P=FR I am not sure if you can keep reverse when locking it into first. |

I think a new esc is your best bet. Even with the foc conversion gear, you have to still screw the main gears together to eliminate the clutch to get the thing to even move forward. After that, your 2 speed tranny will be no more. As for reverse, you could always try.

Hmm. I guess I can just give it a shot. I will have to get a diagram to figure out what gears are what for forward and reverse. But it should be fun none the less. Later, Brandon |

Yea I noticed that. So I was thinking of locking those clutches as well. Though I am not sure if I will be able to switch back and forth if I do that. Thanks for the heads up though. Later, Brandon |
