sabo_traxxas | 12-10-2007 05:28 PM | any opinions? Hey guys. I've been workin on a crawler for quite some time now. I have it all done except for the suspension and the steering. I just recently bought 2 65T motors, Losis Claw Mt Tires, stick on weights for the rims, and a 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500HD body for the beast. I was first off, wondering if the stock Maxx rims would fit the Claws? And second, I was wondering if what else would be good for the rig. I'm not runnin' in any comps or nothing like that, just a bunch of us get together and tear up the rocks here at the house. I made it a 24" wheelbase, center clearance of about 5" and used carbon to lock the a-arms. I used PVC pipe for the axles. They seem to do really well for no suspension being installed. I still haven't locked the difs or the tranny but I am plannin on it. Keepin the stock ESC for now. Let me know about any opinions or thoughts. Thanks guys. "thumbsup" |
