any opinions?

Hey guys. I've been workin on a crawler for quite some time now. I have it all done except for the suspension and the steering. I just recently bought 2 65T motors, Losis Claw Mt Tires, stick on weights for the rims, and a 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500HD body for the beast. I was first off, wondering if the stock Maxx rims would fit the Claws? And second, I was wondering if what else would be good for the rig. I'm not runnin' in any comps or nothing like that, just a bunch of us get together and tear up the rocks here at the house. I made it a 24" wheelbase, center clearance of about 5" and used carbon to lock the a-arms. I used PVC pipe for the axles. They seem to do really well for no suspension being installed. I still haven't locked the difs or the tranny but I am plannin on it. Keepin the stock ESC for now. Let me know about any opinions or thoughts. Thanks guys. "thumbsup"

Sounds like you got a good build going on. The Maxx rims will fit the Losi Claws. A 24" wheel base just sounds kinda long to me. If I were you I would shortin it to around 19-20". I would say deffinatly go with Revo driveshafts. Post up pics when you get a chance!"thumbsup"

I agree, 24" is uaually a little long, I run my truck at 18" with 4ws. Pics are helpful when asking for advice.
