Default lhs guy

I had to go to my lhs to day to fix the trans in my rustler.(gear stripped)
and we got to talking about turn buckles and he gave me 2 tytanium(spelling?) turn buckles and 6 steel that are black. :P :P
my lhs guy is cool.

do you have a cool lhs guy.

nope my LHS guys are a bunch of asses that dnt like to answer questions...so I do all my research online then i go buy what i need.......did I mention they over price everything

So why don't you buy somewhere else?

I have a LHS guy... he is 80 and only deals with planes. No other RC shops in the city

Wait a minute... you went in to buy a replcement gear for your transmission but walked out with turnbuckles?? How was that helping your problem?

Sounds like he did what he gets paid to do... sell you crap you didn't really need.

I shop on the net... Tower Hobbies has been great!

If it makes you feel any better one of my pullmasters siezed and FRIED after a magnet popped loose inside. The magnet that popped off got jammed, I still ran the motor for a bit cause I didn't know at first... It melted, and little chunks of magnet are all inside the can. might be reparable if I turn down the armature a bit and replace all the magnets in the can AND nobody sells parts for these, minus Towerhobbies selling brushes.

Cuz there 10min away and any of the other of the 4 shops are about 30 to 50 min away depending on traffic....ive learned to get in and get out quick before I impulse buy the whole store
