Default Trying to fit 3 Cells in A-arms

I am continuing to customize my crawler. What I want to do now is find some A-arms for the extended e-maxx in which I could put 3 sub-c cells in the hole for the shocks. My setup has the axles locked, but the stock only allows two cells.

I emailed unlimited engineering about these but they have yet to respond.

The pic should give you an idea of what I am trying to do.

why dont you just lay them down on their side in top of the arm?i dont a t/e maxx so im no sure how much room there is between the lower arm the upper arm and the shaft. or what if you just put 2 on each arm

I had some of those like 4 years ago. There is no way that 3 sub C's could fit in the shock hole, I doubt even 2 would fit. Just mount them on top of the arms.

i tried to lay three cells in maxx arms for a few months. i could never get it right without them hanging out the front or back somehow and having to make a goofy saddle pack.

im guessing you are trying for lower CG than traditional style? you could always use rpm top arms and cut out the rear part to give you more room.

Yeah I am trying to keep the COG low and I just find it more pratical to use the holes if possible. I might end up doing like MOTORRAD has in the picture but I can afford to wait and search for a while.

I also could just MILL myself some new arms.

I just found a pic of one of rcrockgears trucks running the batts like how you want. They cut the front peice out of the a-arm. Image shack's website isnt workig right now and I have to get to school, So Ill post the pic up tonight. I would reccomend asking toyofast if he knows.

Here is the only pic I have of a maxx truck running batts like that. It looks to me (not a very good pic im sorry) like they whacked the heck out of the front a-arms to do it. Like I said I beleive this is one of rcrockgears trucks so PM toyofast to see if he has more pics of it...
