| ok, i bought a spool for the rear today for my maxx, it was 11$, kinda expensive because i don't have much money. is there another way to lock the diff without buying a spool? can i put some epoxy in there thanks colin |

| first how is $11 expensive. It's not, you are just broke. Second yat SEARCH, Thrid, paper towels does work. It'll slip a bit before it binds up. |

| Not if you dont have a welder. I hot glued my Maxx diffs, I'm an unemployed 15 year old, and outside of birthday presents, I'm paying for all of my crawler (including buying the original truck new, worked all summer). Maybe try doing some chores and earning money, works for me. |

| I was referring to the 1:1 vehicle... On yours, fill it full of papertowels like said above or something like that. Get creative...something that wont break down that you have around the house should work. |

| 5 min epoxy works wonders. thats what i did, i thought about hot glue but i thought it would shread. and if i put peanut butter in my diffs the squirrles would be a in love with my crawler colin |

| hot glue molds in to everything, basicly turns into a plastic mold of the inside of your diff. |
