Default New maxx mock-up

This is my first crawler and has been much more involved than any other rc project I have done. I had a maxx that I was bored with so I decided to lock the axles like Roktoy did with his on RCMT about 2 years ago, then I came on here and saw the ORCRC trucks with the locked out stock suspension, so I went that rout.

So here it is after a lot of on/off work and many and rebuilt parts... that will all probably be rebuilt again.

E-MAXX locked with pro-line suspension
JR XR3 radio with Hitec 645MG servo
15" wheelbase
Hand wound 37T motor with a Trinity can

Thats about it, remember its still in progress but it will most likely keep this basic layout. Thank you and criticisms are welcome.

looks cool, i'm building something like it now. do you get much torque twist with the shocks mounted on the links? if you mount the drag link for the steering on top of the knuckels mounts it will protect it a little more.

cool truck

by laying the tranny on its side and having the output shafts to one side of the chassis, looks like your driveshafts may interfere with your upper links when your axles flex???other than that..lookin good!!!

Im not getting any torque twist but that may be because the mounts are on the end of the links. Ive tried to mount the connecting link on the top of the knuckles but there was too much flex for my tastes.

Im not getting any interference with the front wishbone or with the rear 4 link.

Cool

That is a nice set up you have cant wait to see its artuclation pic. Just wanted to know if that is a custom frame or a pe-made(if so where did you get it) That under body picture look clean. If hand made good job the two I have tried did not come out that well.
