Default 4ws and locked diffs

Does anybody have any problems with both front and rear diffs being locked and 4ws. I'm just about ready to buy everything up that I will need for this project, and was wondering how they handle.

Look at the trucks in the archives, almost everyone there has the same setup you are asking about, it works just fine. Next time you should do a search to see what threads come up, that way the mediators don't get pissy. Ok, who took my smilies, I can't flipoff if no smilies!

I got around this problem by using a thick mastic (gooey compound) in the diffs rather than locking them.

Still allows the diffs to work but stiffens them up so that they work like a really tight LSD and you can still get the traction to the ground.

I didn't get pissy, just gave a smartass answer to a " use common sense" question

as for the smilies, check your settings. go into user/cp, edit options, scroll to the bottom and change it from basic to standard and see if that works for ya

I was just wondering because with full scale vehicles and it's in 4wd and you turn hard you almost get a shutter like crabbing and wondered if with 4wd it would make it worse. **** so many of you here answer with smartass questions. Maybe you did a lot of tweaking when yuo put on 4ws how do I know I've searched but no one ever really said they had to do alot. I'm just tryn to learn and dumbass people open their mouth and say dumbass things, geez.

THANK YOU MUDCOW!!!
SERIOUSLY.
That is what I wanted to know.

I wasn't being a smartazz, I answered your question as you asked. I only suggested you look around at what others are doing to their trucks. The thing is so light that you wouldn't notice any problems like you do on a full scale truck. Yes, it does sucks when you do a search and it comes up with a bunch of BS and no answer. If you are still worried about your diffs causing problems with the steering, try some 200,000 wt silicone diff lube that they use in the /18th scale buggies. That might be a cheap way to see if you want to be totally locked or not.
