Default not so good turning...

So I have problem since I got it. The guy I bought it from told me that steering was ok on it. I have hitech 645 and turns to right good but barely turns left. When I get home I'am going to try and pull the servo arm off and remount it. But other then that I cant really think of anything that may help ?

check to see how tight the steering knuckles are also.. loosen them if needed.

Check to make sure that the servo is properly centered. If the radio has EPA then check to make sure those are set correctly.

I have had some servos that were near death that would turn one way faster than it would the other. That could be the case here too.

That setup needs some work. Setup a single tierod w/ drag link, so it works like 99% of the other types of steering setups on normal solid axles. If you can't get the traditional setup to work... try to get the steering links(both sides) to be as much in line with the axles(sliders/CVDs) as you can.

Here are my two samples, one is my first setup that worked very well, untill the truck took a nice tumble and really tweaked the tierod, damn thin walled tube. The other is a picture of how it's currently setup just so I could play with it, although I got through 2 packs before I snapped the front CVD

well i played with it little bit. I think i got little better, but this 645 is kinda on the weak side. This just a temp fix till I start on some tube axles like twisted done in the pass.

The 645's are fine in a TLT but in a big truck they don't work too well. In a big truck you need at least 200oz.in. for turning duties. Even more when you have strang steering setups like in a Maxx based rig.
