Default anyone elses 4WS do this?

well i finally got my going ( found the reversor locally) and i have it setup somewhat to frizzlefrys' rear steer. my links are basically parallel when looking from the rear. my links mount under the servo and are on top of the axle ends( whatever that part is called)... everything seems to steer great, but when my suspension is compressed( basically where it rides since its so soft) the front of the rear tires want to bow out :? i was hoping my tires would stay straight but after a few turns and the suspension compresses,it like running the emaxx with no turnbuckles on the rear( thats how bad the bow out)..any ideas?

does it have to do with me mounting them on top of the outside pieces instead of underneath like stock?

i think its just time to make it a straight axle

You got any pics?Mine did funky stuff when I had everything outa wack.

Yours look like this from the back?Once I got the links paralell to the arms my problems went away.

Today I added a seperate battery pack to power the reciever and servos and my drive time is quite a bit longer now.

I forgot to add that my steering links are mounted on the bottom of the servo and on top of the knuckle out at the wheel too

yep, looked exactly like that, maybe my links were a bit more parallel. i put the links on the bottom instead of the top( at the wheel) and it seemed to help a bit,but it still goes wacky. i have done broke a stud axle from it going so wierd. so i took it back off last night. dont have any pics right now since my drive took a crap and cant upload them

i think its time to make it a straight axle so i wont have this problem anymore

could the problem be with the servo? maybe its not strong enough to hold the wheels in place.its the 2055 ( 80 oz. servo) i really couldnt tell ya though, just seems when it squats is when it acts stupid. it rolls the whole knuckle assembly backwards and them the sticks bow out. i gues its just all trial and error when fabbing

now that i stared at your pic, mine wasn't like that...the link ends at the servo are lower than yours. so my links at the servo would be towards the bottom A-arm and the other end of the links( at the wheel) would be more towards the uppper A-arm... so now i think of it,they wouldn't be exactly parallel with the A-arms like yours is in the pic..i will try to redrill my mount so it raises the servo some and tilt it back a bit to raise the rod ends at the servo up so they will be more in the middle of the A-arms

well i played around with it again 2night. moved the whole thing around to get my links more parallel with the A-arms. it does much better now. the wheels seems to stay more straight now my right rear tire still has a little play to it,but i say that is due to not have the links at the servo done the right way. i have a stock 2055 on it with the servo saver only having 1 hole. so i have 1 bolt going through both ends and connecting it to the servo arm... i need to find an arm that will fit that servo that has 2 holes in it instead
