tuber frame for maxx crawler with a wheel base around 17", would you use 3/16" or 1/4" brake line? I see that there are mixed reviews on this. What do you think and why? Thanks

1/4" for big trucks like a maxx with a 17" wheelbase, 3/16" for smaller trucks like a TLT or 2.2 clod.

I agree, 3/16 is plenty strong if you build it right.

16 1/2" WB It depends on the design you have as to what material you are gonna use also. Noway I could have used 1/4" line on dougs truck. It would have been to bulky to put everything in it's place.besides, why add the extra bit of weight, when ya don't need to | |

RcBro, thanks for the pics. I just had a hard time picturing it. I think that I will go with the 1/4" tube since I already have some laying around.
