i also have some E-Maxx shocks that need to be rebuilt, let me know if you are interested. im thinking around $30 or B.O.
I don't care what cup you wear, and if you have ring gear, maybe you should goto the clinic and get a shot.

$30 for used maxx shocks, your kidding, right? Like these ?

silly putty had its time in it for a while and that blew apart the stock cup. the tiny screws that they use dont hold up under presure. then i switched to the maximizer cup, ring gear and limited slip for it and that is wat is making it slip now. the ring or pinion is stripped. thats how!

just install a spool, no problem blowing out any cup screws. better on the rocks and dirt any how, even good in the back of a racer truck.

not trying to be a smartass, but you do realize that even with spools, you still have the cup screws. That is what holds the ring gear on.

Greenjeep- I had heard of alot of people blowing diffs out. They mainly strip the teeth on the ring gear. Doug blew one out in his truck before. Main cause is just abusing the crap out of it. Another thing is when you make a bulletproof drivetrain, your next weak link becomes the diffs. I have never blown one out personally(knock on wood).
