Hey Guys. I'm working on building my Crawler. I'm having John Boyer fab up the chassis. I'm stuck between 2 choices. Which would u pick and y? What do you think the pros and cons of each would be? I like this one because it looks realistic But I like this one because its a low center of gravity and a competition chassis Looks a big factor to me but so is how it works. I will be using this for events. Last edited by RcBro; 01-12-2006 at 12:23 AM.

Twisted. John is going to refab the chassis to be to scale for the maxx crawler. Those are simply what they will look like but in smaller scale. I'm just trying to decide which I like best. And need some help lol. If I did the comp crawler I would get the frame powder coated grey and the side panels black with Rcbros.com in blue on the sides. Should match nicely with the a-arms and revo blue sliders and knuckle rubbers. But I'm still a sucker for realistic looks too. What would u pick?

It's all up to you. Do you want to compete in comps, then go with the 2nd one. If you are more concerned about how it looks, get the 1st one.

One looks scale probably looks really cool just putting around, but once you get in to any steep or off camber stuff all that extra weight up high is going to make it real difficult, especailly if you are in the middle of a comp. THe other does have the scale look but it still pretty neat looking, and when you hit the comps you will not have to worry about being as top heavy. Since you are planning on entering comp I would say go with the leaner of the two.
