| I've done a few searches on this one and I haven't been able to find a related topic. I have an EVX, 2 3600mah 7.2v batteries and 1 Integy 55t lathe motor. If I run two batteries with just the one lathe motor it will fry the single motor correct? Too much juice for a motor designed t run on only 7.2v. If so, is there a way to mod the EVX to run both batteries with a single 7.2v motor for a longer run time? Thanks for your help guy's, and I hope I haven't duplicated this question!! |

| nahh, it will be fine. its a very high wind motor. (55turn) the lathe motor could probably take 14 cells if you watched the heat |

| the motor will handle it.. Seen plenty of people run it, but why do it?? :? better run 2 lathes to pull around the extra weight |

Run lighter 2/3 A cells if you are worried about weight. Last edited by JohnRobHolmes; 01-14-2006 at 10:41 PM.

| yeah I know for wheelspeed, I was just wondering why do 2 batteries and one motor?? you want speed from 1 motor, add more cells like a 11.1 li-po |

| I forgot to mention that I'm using a GD600 too. How does that effect the equasion?? The reason I'm doing it is kind of dumb! When I designed the chassis I had it configured to have a battery hanging on either side. After I had fabricated it I thought of this problem. I don't have a place to put 1 single battery so that it is centered on the chassis, equally distributing the weight. If I remove a battery from one side the chassis gets really 'lopsided'. So I figured if using 2 batts and 1 motor would work I would go ahead and do it. But TC had a good point. I guess if things get too heavy I could just add another GD600 & lathe combo on the other side like TC said. |

isnt that what he is doing? Revoracer, the GD will bring your truck speed back down and give you killer torque and control. It will work awesome.

| a gd600 and lathe is to slow IMO. i run 2 batteries and 1 motor, and it seems to work awsome. |
