Maybe your battery isnt charging fully? Try an overnight trickle charge.

on my last truck, i ran a 27t motor on a GD600 with the 9/72 combo also and got around 1 1/2 hr of runtime on a 3300 pack and around 1hr 15min on a 3000 pack.I ran cs-70 servos on that truck

on my new truck, I run a 22t MM motor with a GD600 with 12/72 gearing and get around 40-45 mins of runtime from a 7cell AA 2500mah battery pack.I run airtronics 359's on this truck and they suck more juice.

I don't use a RX battery at all and never will. Don't like the extra crap

As Adam stated, maybe your battery isn't fully charging or it's possible it's the batteries your using..See if a buddy has a newer 3000 pack you can use and measure times against that pack. Try it on a different charger also.

Also, what pinion do you have on the motor itsself? the stock 18t that came with the GD600?

You may have some binding issues. Maybe your gear mesh is set to tight. You have 2 different meshes to check and set. Could be that your pinion angles are to high and causing a drivetrain bind. Could be the bearings in the tranny, diffs or knuckles. Could even be the terrain you are driving in/on. Or as Adam and TC said you could have a bad battery. Or your gearing could be off. Lots of different possibilities.

well with that same gearing, i was getting 90 mins of runtime on my old truck.. so i would double check for binding and gear mesh and then try a different battery.

its possible you could have tightened up the wheels to tight also. I have done that once and it really killed runtime also

With my stock e-maxx about 4 years ago, I used some cheap (I believe 2400mah) nicd packs and ran about 45 minutes, waaaay longer than even the nitro guys could. They would get mad at me because I ran so much :P that was with the stock motors, and stock esc.

With this new brushless motor I have, I am doing an hour solid with 3000mah viper packs. And I am talking about hauling *** too, up and down the street trying to do wheelies at 15mph.

I use the intellipeak charger. I usually charge my nicds at 5A and my nimh at 3A.

Yep, only the battery i use, no rx pack. I run a SR for an ESC. I couldn't run the EVX, because it would get glitchy with 4ws and I didn't want to run a RX pack

Are you running full out all the time? What servos? EVX... that might be your problem. I bet it's not doing it's best. I bet if you were to swap to a SR or TR2 ESC your run times might improve.

On my Maxx I run cheap NiCd packs, 1400-1700 ratings. I get any where from 25-45 minutes depending on how I charge the packs. I run a 55-turn hooked to a 8/75 combo. I also run tires a bit smaller in diameter than the normal.

well i got my run time up to about 50 min now after finding multiple bidding points.i remessed the motor/gears.did a little losening of the wheels.and the cvd's was my biggest problem.they were super tight.i discovered after giving them some play, the binding while turning went completely away(which i didnt even notice at first til i put it on a stand).and the rear tracking problem i was having was do to the same thing.so if you dont already know, anyone using the cvd, make sure you leave some good play or it will track terrible.all in all i think i got it all worked out,but i striped my 645 rear servo twice befor i figured it out...duh.

i have a question about my servo.everythings the same, except i put a towerpro 995 in place of the hi tech 645 that i striped in the rear.now when i do my rear steer my front servo glitches?my motor jumps slightly to,but not every time you turn.the front servo glitches every time though.is this becouse its two diff brand servo's?it wasnt doing it with 645 front,rear.i.e. matching servos.

The towerpro is a little "lesser" quality of a servo. It doesn't have the noise reduction the Hitec does. So for your setup its kinda normal.

I average 55minutes on the stock truck with 3200mah NiMhs using an intellapeak twin pulse charger. crawling and running wide open. the group of guys I run with are gearing down and getting 1 hour of run time, stock trucks.

I got about 1 hour and 15 minutes on one set of batteries but only because I trickled them over night, allowing the batts to charge for 13 hours really helped.
