Default E-Maxx tranny build

Can anyone help me with a list of parts for the maxx trans that I WON'T need for a crawler? I have a blow-up pic w/ part #'s so I just need to know what parts are not used for a single speed/ no slop modded trans. Any help on this would be great!

Most of us just join two of the gears together in the tranny, nothing actually comes out except the shifting fork

Ok, Thanx. I thought I saw someone take out some other parts but I could be wrong!? I'll see if I get any other input befor I start buying my parts. Also you guys think it's worth buying a roller on e-bay or just putting the trans. and diffs together part by part?

The only part you could keep out is the idler gear for second gear, unless you make a spacer to take place of the actual 31t second gear.

PM sent on your second question.
