Default I need a good machinist!

I have an idea for hub-mounted planetary reduction units for the maxx, but it requires some custom machine work that is a little more in depth than I can handle on my own with my drill press. All I want out of it is the first set and credit for the idea, I really don't care if some continues to produce them for sale as long as I get credit for the design. Could anybody here handle it or know of someone who can? This would greatly reduce the strain on the driveshafts and reduce torque twist as well, since most of the gear reduction would be at the wheel....

I basically need 2 custom mounting plates(one with 2 bearing recesses, one on each side) and 2 custom shafts, one with a spot for a 9 tooth, 32 pitch pinion, and one with a hex-pin hole and threading for the wheel nut, cut out of a drill reduction unit's chuck shaft....

And multiply this times 4 for one truck! LOL!

A true planetary system, like that used by most H/D earth movng equipment would be awesome. I'd been thinking of smething a little simpler, using 2 gears like the old VW Van transaxles used. Similar in design and functin to a GD600.

Finding the outer, internal tooth ring gear for a planetary that size might be interesting....but this place may be of some help....

Cool link, but I've already found the 2 stage steel planetary setup complete with the outer ring with internal teeth, cheap too... Like I said, I just need to get the inner and outer gear case "caps" machined, probably out of delrin, and then a pair of shafts adapted to fit the input and output stages...

Did you get my email about your PM? Or was that my PM about your email?

Maybe it was your PM about my email, or was it your email about my PM?
