How easily do they come apart? (for if/when you break a axle/diff)

They only weigh a couple more ounces than the plastic ones. Then weight around a pound or 2.

6 hours? Even with that much time you still didn't even raise the diff. That is the main point to building a crawler with Maxx diffs, better diff clearance.

Also, you built it based around Maxx shafts... you have not done any research here on RCC before you started building. Maxx shafts break left and right. Revo swap is the only mega tough option.

Guess you'll get one run and have to rebuild it.

I don't care how old you are, hell... I've seen worse from the old guys on here before. I just wanted to know why you wouldn't use the Maxx diffs to your advantage, that's all.

Cooler than locked ones with diff clearance like I have, pretty sweet idea if you ask me.

Revo shafts are pretty big compared to the Maxx units but by looking at the pictures I think it might fit. Only real issue is where the knuckle attaches. The Revo knuckles have a different distance between the upper and lower piviot balls compared to the Maxx ones.

Did I "dog" him about the axles not looking scale? Hell, I never even noticed him mentioning scale axles in this thread. If I missed that please point it out. Only reason to build a Maxx is for two reasons:
1. To be different.
2. To build an axle with more ground clearance,

That's it.

Hey thanks toyofast.I mean i dont want to get on your bad side but i was kinda going for the scale look.AAns i would also thank you for showing me the pic of the revo knukle. If i buy 2 more washers and re drill and tap them they schould work out fine. And this is more of a go out and fid some rocks to crawl on.Not a comp crawler so than clearence doesnt really matter to me.

Excuse my ignorance, but how does those axles compare within ounces of the stock maxx plastic? I see the flipoff guy, so I sure hope you were being sarcastic?
