Default how to tell the difference?

I was wondering how do you tell the difference between the Narrow (orginal) and Wide (current) E-maxxs?

Is there any key differences that you can see in pictures? or is it all with measuring?

Edit: You beat me to it
The old ones shock tower has one mounting spot for the shocks. The new one has three spot to mount shocks.
Also the arms on the old one has two shock mounting holes. The new one has three holes.

Width mostly. If someone states it's a 2.5 Maxx then it's a "wide Maxx".

Suspension a arms and new shock tower where the only diffrence. THey actually make a kit that with "convert" your narrow max to a wide max. All it has in it are the arms shock tower and some spacers for camber.

and if you plan on doing the 'revo mod', i suggest you go with the narrow arms.
