Default Anether maxx tuber

hello i have been on this site for a while and finaly said imm going to build one so hear it gos
so far all i have is the axles locked ot didnt cost anymoney either thats a good one
tmxonr is building my a replica of his tuber chassie
any advise is greatly welcomed
here is what i have so far pics alternate between my phone and my real camrea sorry for that

im going to use cut and reversed stock maxx tires till i get a little more money

looks good, i think u should take the stocl shock tower off and biuld one that is lower then that one is and keep the pics coming too

yeah i hope i can get to the hardwere store and get some alum plate to do that this week some time and im still lerning to make my own links thats why they are like that

did some work on the rear of it and made some changes that i like lmk what you think also will have some pics of all for tires cut also thanks

wow im like the only one to post in my forum lol
but hear is an update the old lock out had some flexing so i made these
the first one looks ugly but it dose what was intended the second one is clean

Check for flex in the upper arm where you have mounted the lockout, I did this on mine and found it had to much flex in the arm. If you want to set it up this way you will have to find a way of bracing between the two arms or just link into the shock mounts on the lower arm. Like you had it. Just my 2 cents.

in the pics befor it had flex no that it angled more it dosent flex at all TMXONR should have my chassis together and servo mounts by the end of this month

hello fellow crawlers update to my crawler i have gotton the stering main link done and well thats about it till i get my tranny chassie and electronics

Im going to have to figure out how to cut some custom servo mounts and towers. I have dremels... but i keep breaking the tips!

hay thanks yeah i have broken three drill bits on my links and my axles

edit tmxonr imformed me he has started my chassie and should have it done vary shortly he said main part and half the cab have been started

i just one a tranny on ebay a pede tranny with ball berings and a stock motor for 49 bucks even what a great deal huh

still have more to come bbl with up date

looks good and are u going to run 4wheelsteering and if so the lrp bec setup will not work with 2 servos i think u should get a tekin rebel 2 or the novak super duty.

Looking good so far. I have been building RC's for racing for sometime now I am in the process of building a Maxx crawler. Still In the design phase right now though Ihave milled a few parts for test purposes. Love these build threads as I gain so much form others.

thanks frank and pede im well aware of the bec output and i have a reciver pack going onto the crawler yeah i will be also using two 645 am i going to have to buy a servo extender or will it work without that


and will my esc work with the 55 lathe motors

your esc will work with the 55 lathe motor and on the servo extends it all debend where u but the recvier on the frame u my need it or not

thanks i am going to buy one right now and i bought a 12 inch servo extesion because im going to mount the reciver at the frunt under the hood with the batts this is going to be fun to get it finished from tower i have spent 125 bucks there
i bought...
servo extension, two hitec 645's, 30 traxxas ball ends to do the rest of my links ,
some pivitong shock bushings, and a set of bulk heads for my race maxx that i broke
well under way in this thing now no turning back

bought my motor have evrything in the mail all i need to do is mount evrything when it gets hear witch i hope is soon

isnt ebay great! nice truck

I am using a e-rusty transmission case with the gears from the nitro rusty. It was easy to lock the nitro gears.
