Default shorter width

hey, i was wondeirng, how do you guys shorten the width of your axles on your maxx's? my width right now is just a bit over 16.5 with the proline beadlocks, and the moab xl's. thanks

You can make custom axles or shorten the arms a bit. The locked stock length is way too wide IMO... 14" is as wide as I would go personally.

The old Maxx arms are shorter than the new ones. you would lose about one and a half to two inches in width.

what do you guys think is the easiest and best way to make custom axles? if i shave some material off the arms i have on my car right now, im scareed it might ruin the dexterity of the arms. also, i do not have any brazing equipment so i cant to the tube axles

there's always PVC axles. though I have never heard how well they actually hold up, they look pretty stout.
