You vould buy the new evx that has lvd or you could buy a brushless system for more speed and power, kershawdesign is an option or any other hobby shop. But depends how much money you will spend.

I know this has been up for awhile, but I thought I'd post this up for reference. the hobbywing quicrun wp-860 is a dual brushed motor esc that will drop in to an emaxx, and can be bought for about $40.

id say your good to run lipos with any esc, i have been running a lipo on an old dynamite tazer esc for a little over a eyar now with no problems, i think it was out before the lipo craze, just get a voltage sensor, the bro and i use a low voltage buzzer on his crawler since theres no lipo cut

I just bought a newer evx-2, and has been working fine on two 5000mAh 2S Lipos.

I installed mine on a 3906 e-maxx.
