You might want to go with a lathe motor (one) instead of two huge maxx motors, this will help lower your c.o.g. that is a biggie. loose the huge evx go with something smaller thaty only wants one batt.or search on how tto use one batt. on your speed controll (it can be done) I have an evx w/two 55turn lathes on my clod crawler and a single 55turn on mt rocmaxx

actually those links came like that lol thats actually a modified clod chassis and the motor and the esc are only temporary for right now and the ratio is a little off im running a 13t pinion and the 75(?)t spur so its off slightly but i still need to lock the tranny and the axles but thats not to bad for a first timer

you can make the evx use just one battery by wiring the positive lead to the negative lead on one of the battery connections.

i thin keveryone can get those links cuz i think i saw them like on a clod buster kinda website devoted to only clod parts for the stock and modified clod chassis`....but i was also looking at them and i`m sure u could make them at home i mean to me all it is is just like a solid aluminum stock with the sides kinda grinded down to a flat surface...drill your holes and them thread them and i`m sure everyone could get the same result thats just my .02 though but thanx to eveyone i got ALL my info on here and i`m ready to strap on a new lathe 55t motor and modify my evx to run a single 3000 pack...so thanx for all the encouraging comments and suggestions

yea...i was out in the garage working on my maddmaxx crawler...and it was looking kinda rough around the edges sort of speaking and i was watching Mad Max on tv and i always liked that movie and i figured its not the nicest looking rig but the name will suit it just nicely lol and the motor and esc mod will be done soon...still have some things i`m going to change on it so when the time comes i`m gonna crawl it and let everyone know how it does

have you thought about narrowing your wheels to get the most out of those moabs? how about making your suspension lock out links a little longer to gain some diff clearance?

looks like a good start so far!

yea i`ve actually thought about making my lockout links a little longer.....i have plenty of threaded rod that i used to make the lockouts also so i might actually do that.....and for narrowing my rims i thought about that too....but thats not gonna be done right now.....i`m not making this a comp kinda rig (although i wouldnt mind competing one day) so this is just a "just for fun" kinda thing lol but hey thanx for the advice though i`ll def. think about the longer lock outs

actually the motors i have on there now are just two titans but i`m ditching those for a 55t lathe sooner or later here. but the chassis itself like i said before is a modified clod chassis (to fit the trans and motors and other stuff) and the chassis itself WITH the links and stuff was about 100 bucks. so i thought it was a good start for now for me
