Default my first crawler build

Over the last 9 months or so I've been collecting the parts to build a crawler. I finally got it finished (for the most part) yesterday and got to play with it in the snow a little bit.

*specs*

emaxx tranny locked into 1st
spooled diffs
integy 55t motor
hitec 645 front steering servo
tower pro 955 rear steer servo
double j custom axles
double j verticle smile chassis

ordered a moped esc as well so i can run off of one battery.

I'm still working on the servo brackets, so they are just held on with tubing clamps for now. I need some stiffer springs but was surprised with what little torque twist I had, even with the shocks mounted to the links.

i've also moved the battery to the upper links.

here is my modded tq3. the third steer wheel is self centering by using the steering wheel setup out of a broken Tq Tx.

Default ok

If you are using the traxxas evx esc have you tried to short out one side using a plug where you still get 14.4 volts and only have to carry the weight of one battery . I fergot whitch side it is but the skinny is on here serch for it, it might help alot!!!!!!!!!!

You only get 14.4volts by running 12cells. 1.2v per cell x 12=14.4v

the axles are made by the user Double J on here. they are steel.

the beadlocks are maximizers.

next will be to finish the servo mounts, have a little grinding to due to clear the steering links better, new V10 motor from Axiom, new battery pack from cheapbatterypacks.com
