Default to narrow or not to narrow

ok guys I seen that on 2.2 rigs they narrow the rims WHY??
Should I do this on my maxx

I narrowed mine up and seemed to like it much more than the stock..........

are you running stock tires? the whole purpose is for looks and it allows more sidebite and a different look

As stated, it's for contact pressure. also it makes the tire a tad taller and allows the sidewalls to wrap around. Allows for some clearance issues also(if you have any)
