The Tmaxx tranny is different that the Emaxx one. You can modify it to work by making a motor mount and putting the singlespeed conversion in it.

You can actually lock the t-maxx tranny into 1st gear.

I used an RC10 motor mount, chopped of the transmission end and bolted it to the tranny. Then i run a GD600 2.5:1 to my motor.

The T-MAXX tranny from teh original t-maxx and 2.5 maxx has a centrifical clutch as well, so the motor will have to spool up before the tranny engauges.... not good for crawling, as it will begin to coast slightly before the tranny engauges.

You will also have to have a disk brake system, as the the motor will not be abe to brake the transmission.

You can remove the clutch by locking it in first and you dont need the disk brakes because the magnets in the motor act as a brake system.

well if someone is trying to crawl a nitro, they dont belong here. I run a T-maxx trans in my rig and it gets the job done.
