Default Pro advise Please, tweak tune suspension

Help advise Please Too Much Tork Twist

Ok I have spent half the day reading , searching, looking at pics of rigs and checking out the new crawler chassis, I found the thread on how to avoid tork twist Which really did not help explain very well, Found the thread that says how to set up Links, but there were NO pics,
& the other 9 hrs of the day building

so here's my set up before and after,
I keep'd the angle of the shock the same, just lowered and changed the shock from e-maxx to savage, was 1" travel now it's 1 5/8 travel shock

I'm getting a lot more tork twist
the spring was soft, so I added a heavier one, but can buy stiffer ones

ANy pros have PIctures of links and shock set up that work ?

Apreciate your advise

so you have alot more torque twist after you installed the Savage shocks?

That should tell ya something

ditch the savage shocks, run thicker oil also

also, the further you move the shocks out towards the wheel, the better

One thing I see is, the angle of your upper links. Try raising them up off the axle, so your upper links don't angle upward toward the chassis. Try to get them level with the ground, or better yet, angled down from the axle to the chassis. This fixed the torque twist on my buddies maxx. 100wt oil is good.

Lower your ride height. That will help a good bit right off the bat.

Thank you , I have not moved the upper links yet, but I did drop in the red springs from the max shocks in the 1st & 2nd pics then used 60 weight silicon , it Helped A lot and it twists to a full 90
When I build my new crawler I'll do better on the links

Great feedback thank you

YEa I agree,
I'm going to see what I can do to Lower the chassis and then limit travel, because it is twisting to a Full 90* !
