This is my first crawler, I had a spare t-maxx laying around that i found at the local trash drop off. ( freebie ) I ran the engine and it ran great so I'm saving the engine for the other t-maxx. I got a r/c mag and studied a little on r/c crawling, found this website witch is so helpful. Well here are the link to check out my chassis. I will start on the axles when time allows please drop a comment i am interested to know what you think http://good-times.webshots.com/album/558050120ZJFEMT slated parts 55t lath motor by integrety, gd 600 e-maxx trans, revo shafts, t-maxx diffs, axles tq3 and receiver, novak speed controller not sure on the servos or batt got to keep a sane budget Last edited by frankybullets; 03-08-2007 at 11:24 AM.

nice looking chasis, you wont need the gd600 if you run a 72 spur and like a 10 to 12 pinion, i run a 72 spur and 12 pinion and its got torque and enough speed.

Nice chassis. Sounds good, but like the above post said you won't need a GD600 with a 72 tooth spur and a 55T lathe motor. Oh yeah and welcome to the wonderfull world of remote control rock crawlin'! I'm only 11 years old and I already have two rigs and two build ups!! Krystopher

Nice chassis ! I'll agree that the GD 600 with the Lathe motor is way low with the 72 tooth spur. I'm running that combo. right now with the 2 speed trans. First gear is super low and second gear helps with the wheel speed but I wish I had more. Looks like your off to a good start.

so far so good, but i personally would have made the sides and bottom, 1 piece. Even if you couldn't bend it, just take a dremel cutoff wheel or something of that nature to cut where you wanted it bent(not all the way through). then you could bend it easier. That way you do not have the rock anchors(bolts) on the bottom. Another option would be to get some cutting board material or delrin and countersink it, so the bolts are not hanging. Yes I agree, GD600 with lathe is pretty slow... Looking good though.. just some input for ya

thanks twisted creations, i was using 2x2x1/8 angle alumnum for the chassie and i did think about the bottom and you are right. so i used small poprivits in the botom to get as much out of it as i could, if it dosent work out i will probably rebuild it.
