Default R2 tranny and chassis

hey does anyone know anyone who sells maxx chassis?? and i've been thinking of using an R2 tranny but it didnt seem real popular with maxx crawlers, figured i'd ask around about it be4 i bought it. is it worth the 80 bucks or should i save my money and fab up my tmaxx tranny.

you can great emaxx tranny for $60 easy, or just fab a motor plate for the tmaxx, instead of the R2. as for chassis, im not sure if anyone sells them, best bet is to fab your own. look at some of the chassis' in the maxx rides section, it helped me alot when building my chassis.

yea i dont have a problem at all making my chassis and fabing up stuff but its hard to get stuff made but when i do its gotta be what i want the first time. i thought the R2 looked awfully nice for 80 bucks but maybe thats all its worth is looks, idk, i'll prolly cheap out and make a mount for the tmaxx trans.
