| HI CRAWLERS..I JUST FINISHED MY 1ST MAXX CRAWLER..POST PICS SOON..MY QUESTION IS IF IM RUNNING A GOOD RATIO?TRUCK WEIGHTS JUST A LITTLE OVER 10 POUNDS..RUNNING A 55TURN INTEGY 55 TURN LATHE MOTER WITH A PEDA 12T PINION ANG 86T SPUR.RATIO IS 55.4..SEEMS TO WORK WELL JUST WANTED TO KNOW IF I SHOULD SHOOT FOR LOWER GEAR..PROMBLEM IS I CAN'T FIND A PINION GEAR SMALLER THEN A 12T FOR 48 PITCH...CANT GO TO 90T SPUR DOES NOT CLEAR THE OUT YOKE ON TRANS...HAS ENYONE RAN A 32PITCH SET ON THE PEDE TRANS..IF SO WHAT TYPE DID U USE TO WORK..THANKS FOR THE HELP...MAXX FORUM HAS BEEN A BIG HELP FOR MY BUILD..I THANK U ALL |

| 1. Turn off the caps 2. Guessing your in Dayton Ohio?(click the link in my sig, if you have not already/forums 3. 12t is about the smallest you will find..95% of maxx guys run the maxx tranny, since it is alot stronger. Kris (Silvr_tung_Devl) had ran 32p gears on his tranny, but I can not remember what ratio he ran... You can go up in the sticky about building a maxx and find out how to figure your final ratio... I personally liked anywhere from 80-110:1 on my maxx |

| That is a good setup, that give a little more on torque side than wheel speed, but enough of wheel speed for most climbs. |
