Default Shocks

I am using t-maxx shocks and they seem to be very stiff. Should I go with a lighter oil, less oil, cut the springs? Any suggestions would be great.

stock tmaxx shocks arent that stiff at all, how do you have them mounted? whats the weight of the vehicle? you could try lighter oil but that might make them springy, and so would using a piston with more holes.

I was holding the shocks where I thought they should go and it didn't seem as though it was going to work. I mounted them and they worked great. I will post my pics. of the build later today or tomorrow. Thanks

Springs are over rated. Run thick oil and ditch the springs. Crawling a low rider is great.
