well i'll admit,im one of those dumb newbies when it comes to RC's i just traded my Tmaxx for an Emaxx(stock) since i wanted to go electric to make a crawler.besides getting tired of screwing with nitro anyway,i just read an article in the summer 2003 mag of RC monster trucks.they had a section about parallel or series..what are you guys running? i will still be keeping both motors for now,but it says for a series on the motors that it will give you longer run times and lots of torque with the con of having a low top speed..this seems like what i would want to make a crawler looking for some advice on that before i burn my motors or the ESC up now for gearing? is everyone just keeping their gears stock or lowering them down? what is the stock gearing and what should i go to.should i change the trans or can you put in different gearing in the diffs? i also see that the stock motors( titan 550's) are 23 turn if i go to like a 21 turn, would that give more torque? or would it be better to go to a 25 turn( if they even make something like that for the Emaxx any help would greatly be appreciated Thanks again Jeremy BTW--glad to see a site that is dedicated to the crawlers

Well, there isn't and 25 turn 550's that I know of, the titans are fine. Put 9 tooths pinion on them and that will be good for gearing.

My maxx has mag mayhems, 8 tooth pinions, and 72 tooth spur. It is at least 2 times faster than my txt.

Sorry for not anwser that question, If you had a 15 turn motor conpared to a 20 turn, the 20 turn would have more torque.
