Default MAXX not working

My E-MAXX will turn but it will not move forward of backword
It is all most stock

make sure all the motor connections are connected
make sure the batteries are hooked up fully

if the batteries are charged and pluged in and all you have is steering then you most likly have a bad evx, i mean you fried it. does it smell like burned fiberglass?

What type of batteries do you have? If you have a 7 cell battery in it then that might be the problem.

hey rob! welcome to the board, i own a house out in stanley.
my 1st guess would be to check your esc, then radio connections. try plugging your steering servo into the esc port on the receiver and see if it the servo moves with trigger action.

I know it's not,
But any way, I found the problem, I was messing around with it and I went to charge the bateries and when I pluged one of them up, my charger could not read it, one of the batteries wires was not in all the way in the wite clip
so thanks for the help
